Finding a teacher.

It’s a warm and bright day outside. Three blacksmiths are going for a stroll taking them by a lake. Suddenly they see Jim a young unlearned fellow. He’s shouting and flailing about in the water. All three smiths shout out at the same time.
The first says “Swim!”
The second hollers “Kick your feet and swing your arms!”
And the last screams “Don’t drown!”

All three mean the same thing; and they all want to help but what seems obvious to some isn’t to others. Jim may have just seen a water moccasin. But he probably doesn’t know how to swim.
